The K'hiff War Host v.1

As savage as a pack of wild wolves and as cunning as a fox the K'hiff are not to be taken lightly.
Based on the great figure line by Denizen who supply much of the world , wail Stone Mountain Miniatures supply USA, Canada and Mexico. Picks can be seen at Ainsty (links at botom of page)
General K'hiff Rules : Pack Mindset ; regardless of pack size the K'hiff only take a morale test at 50% loses , not at 25% loses for large squads (8+).
Mobile Hunters ; allows the K'hiff to use the union fall back rule in champains.

Alpha Male Force Commander
The road to the top is a long and bloody one , and the K'hiff that makes it more than earns the respect of his fellow , his word becomes the law of the pack.

Equipment: Pulse Pistol , Pulse Grenades , Fang Blade
Options : Power Field Generator (+15 points) Adds AR:5 to stat line.
Abilities : Commanding Presence : The powerful presence of the alpha male instills courage in the K'hiff War Houst. Any K'hiff warrior within 12 inches and LOS (regardless of facing) of the Alpha Male may re-roll any failed GUT test ; the second roll must be used.
Sly like a Fox : (+15 points) This ability adds +1 to all K'hiff Initiative rolls during the game as long as the Alpha Male lives , if he is killed this becomes a -1 to all K'hiff initiative rolls.

Rogue Male Master Hunter
Some K'hiff can not work within the main pack but will still go to war with their fellows , most die very soon being lone warriors in combat with large numbers of the enemy , but the few that make it become deadly and effective gorilla warriors.

Structure : lone Individual (may not join units)
Equipment: Longshot Laser Rifle , Pulse Grenades and Razor Sword
Options : Power Field Generator (+15 points) Adds AR:5 to the stat line.
Abilities : Master Hunter ; The Rogue Male is so good at finding his prey he can spot any enemy within 12 inches though they be in or out of LOS , hiden or otherwise concealed.
Savage Reputation : (+10 points) This Rogue Male has such a deadly reputation with his enemys that they must pass a GUT test to charge into melee with him (a failed test will stop short of contact and may use his remaining MPs to do anything but enter melee with the Rogue Male) , once in hand to hand combat his enemies will be too busy fighting to bother with further tests from this factor.

Sniper Team
Small Sniper Teams work to cover the main K'hiff forces in the field , pin the enemy down , and take out key enemy figures / weapons.

The Grunt Packs form the core of the K'hiff war host , favoring firepower they prefer to take down prey from a distance or from ambush.

Options : Up to one grunt may replace his assault rifle with a Screamer Light Machine Gun for no extra points . Up to one grunt may replace his assault rifle for a Scrapper Missile launcher for +45 points
Abilities :

K'hiff Hunting Pack
Although the K'hiff prefer to take their pray down at rage they will close in for the kill when needed , the hunter packs are made up of K'hiff that do well at just that.

For fire support some K'hiff will form into fire packs , deadly but few , a well used Fire Pack can make or break a battle.

Options : The Guard may replace his assault rifle with a Firestarter Flamer or Screamer LMG for no extra points The remaining K'hiff will form into 2 trooper fire support teams with one standard armed K'hiff being a loader and one replacing his assault rifle for a StrongArm Grenade Launcher for +15 points or a Scrapper Missile Launcher for +45 points

"The non-humanoid K'hiff are religious fanatics engaged in a holy war or Jihad to conquer or convert the galaxy. Not much is known about the K'hiff. No one is sure where they come from, only that they follow a Mahdi. Each clan of warriors (Ansars) is led by a priest/commander called the Emir, who demands complete, unquestioning devotion and loyalty. The K'hiff expect no quarter and give none." Any other info , like troop organisation , sub-leader types / names , special charicter suggestions , ect ... would be helpfull.

ArgoGames says: Y'know, I always thought they WERE just rip-off figs based on Cherryh's work, but seeing the photos I'm not so sure. More canine/lupine than I thought. Might make good Vargr for Traveller too.

"All the Science Fiction figures (including K'hiff) are around the 28/30mm size. Some of the early Fantasy ones are a little smaller, though still more than 25mm, but they grew a bit over the years!"
So they should fit right in , allong with their other scifi lines ...
