Absurd human beings position confronted with a world without hope or meaning and faced with the painful cantradiction between their longing for immortality and their knowledge of their eventual death a person becomes a rebel at the point when he or she seys no to oppresive patterns af society and accepts the challenge of forging personal and social values that affirm life much of the ache and brooding unhappiness in life is the result of the difficulty people experience in using themselves fully. We perform compartmentalized acts in a compartmentalized world. We are reined in physically, socially and spiritually this diminishes our capacity for moral response to create a moral summons work then without disputing it. It is the only way to render life supportable. It is not the attaintability of prefection that matters, but the pursuit of it. We need not torture ourselves about the nature of human purpose ideas of men, that others then give allegiance have lifted up our civilisation whence the universe came or whither it is bound or how it happens to be at all, knowledge cannot tell me only this, that the will to live is present everywhere, even as in me.
Reverence for human suffering and human life for the smallest and most insignificant must be the inviolable law to rule the world from now on. In doing so we do not replace old slogans with new ones, and imagine that some good may come from high sounding speecehes and pronouncements. We must recognise that only a deep seated change of heart spreading from one person to another can achieve such a thing in this world. Time to build a new humanity leading men toward a true, inalienable ethic of our own, based on reverence for life wherever you see life, that is ourself i cannot avoid compassion for that which is called life. That is the begining and foundation of morality. Modest words that are rich in meaning it is harsh mystery why some people can behave so cruelly.
A world given over to ignorance and egotism people will soon stop killing people, animals, insects; taiking pleasure in killing any living thing will be seen as a mental aberration. All the killing that necessity imposes upon us will be done with sorrow and not for sport it is our duty to share an maintain life if you are denied pain you must help to ease the pain of others the highest insight a man can attain is a yearning for peace for the union of an infinite will. All nations the whole of hummanity should constantly progres towards perfection. We must search for these conditions and hold fast to these ideals. If we do this our finite spirit will be in harmony with the infinite. Thinking about death in this way can produce a true love for life. When we are familiar with death we accept each week, each days as a gift. Only if we are able to accept this life bit-by-bit does it become precious. By contemplating death, starring in the face cen we be delivered from our baser self, from fear and hatred. Some words/lyrics/attitudes glorify the ideology of inhumanity. The idea that we are all human beings together has become lost in war and politics. We regard each other only as members of a people either allied with us or against us; and our approach; prejudice, sympathy or antipathy are all conditioned by that our responses to it. We must rediscover the fact that we are all human being - all together - and must strive to help and share the burdens of one another. The only way out of today's misery is for people to become worthy of each other's trust Mistrust is paralyzing. Another new spirit must enter the people. Time to adopt a new world view. True Democracy. I am worried about present day journalism. The emphasis on negative is much too strong. Often, news about events marking great progress is overlooked. It makes for a negative or discouraging atmosphere. There is danger that people may lose faith in the forward direction of humanity. Real progress is related to the belief that is possible.
