There are some that manage to keep fairly clean facilities. Unfortunately, they are few and far between. Not near enough to make up for the amount of gross and inhumane breeders out there.

These are not puppy mills that we have visited. We do not take photos of the mills we rescue from. Instead, we like to start each dog's photo-journal with a photo taken as soon as they get to their foster home after an auction. While it's good to remember where you've been, in some cases it is better to look ahead to the fun to come. These dogs are not up for adoption.
