A picture of the alley outside of Werk II, the Industrial Venue. There is a great little record store on the right side of this alley called "Stay Sick" where we always shop during the festival

This is a picture of the electro-fetish band Call, who incorporate flogging and scarification in their stage show

This is Stefan Ackerman, frontman of Das Ich. Due to technical problems, their show didn't even begin until almost 3am. Even so, they played an amazing 2-hour set that ran past 5am to a crowd of over 3,000!

In My Rosary, performing their great set at Haus Leipzig

Olivier Moreau (a.k.a. Imminent Starvation) cranking out a mindblowing set of harsh, rhythmic industrial music at Werk II

Yet another shot of Olivier, whose mixing board (seen here) would later be dismantled and released as inserts in the "Nord" boxset (ltd. 707) released by Ant-Zen

Johan Van Roy, the force behind Suicide Commando, singing "See You In Hell" during his show at Werk II

Marita Schreck turned out to be the surprise of the festival! Mario W. suggested I check this band out. I was a little skeptical since I'd never heard mention of them anywhere else, but I'm so glad I listened to Mario's recommendation! They were absolutely *phenomenal* live, accentuating their stark, rhythm-driven works with fascinating onstage activities. During "Ohrenschrauben" (above), they performed a mesmerizing, synchronized dance with white PVC pipes.

This picture was taken during "Pfirschblut" as they performed a strage rite involving the large mask seen above. During other tracks, they projected video montages onto round screens while moving about to the odd beats.

Synapscape Live. The guy on the far right side of this photo (looking left) is Christian Pallentin, a.k.a. P.A.L.

Another shot of Synapscape's mindblowing performance.
