the icicle forms just drop by drop

as weather freezes

they take shape

they take form

as we do

day by day, hour by hour

week by week, year by year.

we mold into our final form

personality, creativity, growth

we take shape and then for the time,

we stay the same

but the weather changes

the icicle melts and we go too

the day is done and so is life

but we are not

because we still have God to bring us up

we go with him to our place

to watch the new icicle form

to watch the new child form

to stay forever, never changing
