From the across the pond comes some of Britain's best underground manga! This collection features the cream of the U.K.'s crop in anime fandom. We have Boiled Spoons which takes place in an alternate reality version of Japan where mechas & magic are common everyday things. There, a bunch of catgirls, bunnygirls, sorceresses, martial artists, schoolgirls, a cyborg, and a possible vampire, all live in the town of Sendai. Also, from the same universe is Burnt Soup about the Magic Police Dept. who combat evil necromancers and other magical criminals. Rounding out the anthology is Life Of Nikuya, where the bittersweet demoness Melody is cast out of Hell for being nice to the damned, and ends up going to high school with a psychotic girl with a very short temper. All these comics have been a huge success in the U.K, and this is the first time they've ever been collected & made available directly in America.
