Lisa Diane Whelchel was born on May 29, 1963 - just 9 days after mine, and making her a Gemini. Growing up in Texas, she was a talented ventriloquist, and became a Mousketeer - something every girl wanted to be. Besides playing "Blair Warner" on
the Facts, Lisa starred in numerous movies, and television movies. Her 1984 album, "All Because of You", was nominated for a Grammy for Best Inspirational Performance".

Lisa Whelchel, a strong Christian,  married Steven Cauble in July of 1988. They have three cute children, Tucker, Haven, and Clancy who she homeschools.

Her debut book, "Creative Correction : Extraordinary Ideas for Everyday Discipline"
is a wonderful book, and is having a hard time staying at the bookstores.  Her upcoming book is "The Facts of Life and Other Lessons My Father Taught Me".
Her future books include  "Beyond Bible Stories", "The Adventures of Christmas", and "Finding God in America".

Blair Warner was the oldest of the four girls. She was very rich and loved to go shopping, especially at Bloomingdale's. She was very social, and had a lot of friends. She had an "image" and didn't want to ruin it.

Blair was the friend that you could talk to, because she was a very caring person. She was always there for Jo, Natalie, and Tootie.

Kim Fields was born on May 12, 1969 in New York City, New York. At five, she starred in Sesame Street, and she was the girl who "loooooved Mrs. Butterworth" in that classic syrup commercial that we can't forget. She was in the series "Baby I'm Back" and also in the miniseries "Roots", and then, she made us laugh as "Tootie" in the
Facts. After she lost a role on "Diff'frent Strokes" because she was too tall to play Gary Coleman's girlfriend, it's ironic that the producers put her on rollerskates for the  first season because she was too short.

Kim graduated from Pepperdine University in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Film. There, she started her own production company specializing in Christian themes, Victory Entertainment Inc.

She was married for 3 years, from 1995-1998 to Johnathon Franklin Freeman, a business executive.

She starred in "Living Single" from 1993-1998, which she also directed. She has directed "Kenan and Kel", "The Jersey", and most recently, "Taina", all children's shows on Nickelodeon.

What can I say ?! "Tootie" was such a cutie!
And so is her name! She was simply adorable throughout the show!! Tootie was the youngest of the four girls, and sometimes felt excluded because of that matter. She was a gossip, but never meant to do harm.

She wanted to be an actress, and she did in the end. She was a very talented young girl, and was a lot of fun to be with.

We are in troubleeeee........there's so much to say, and no room! Okay, if you want to see just how cute Tootie is, just watch any episode of the
Facts!

Mindy Cohn was born on May 20, 1966 in Los Angeles, California.

Mindy was given the role of "Natalie Green" by Charlotte Rae. It was Mindy's first acting role, and the character of Natalie was written especially with Mindy in mind.

She earned her college degree in sociology from Loyola Marymount University in 1995. She discussed teen issues alongside co-host Alan Thicke, on a Phoenix-based radio talk show. (Does the name Alan Thicke sound familiar? He co-wrote the
Facts theme song.) Mindy has starred in many shows such as Suddenly Susan.

Natalie Green was best friends with Tootie, and they shared many secrets. Natalie was very fun-loving, and also very vivacious. She was an aspiring writer, and later on, became one.

Natalie, who was also known as "Nat" was sometimes known as sometimes neurotic. She was a very good friend, and had her quiet moments, but for the most part, she was the loud one.

Nancy McKeon's amazing ability to cry on cue won her the nickname "Faucet Face" from her cast members.

Currently, she is Jinny Exstead in the Lifetime drama, The Division.

Jo Polniaczek entered Eastland during the second season. She was the fast-talking tough girl from the Bronx. If something bothered her, she was not known to keep quiet. She would stand up for what she believed in.

There was a soft side to Jo that we saw quite often. It was the side of her that made her a great friend, and good to talk to.
