Welcome
to my corner of the world! Or shall I say, corners?
 My
name is Rebecca Burt and I'm a journalist and soldier in the U.S. Army.
Currently, I'm assigned to V Corps in Heidelberg,
Germany. I'm a veteran of the war in Iraq; I swpent 2003 in Baghdad, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
I was born in 1979, and though only 25 I think I've led a
fairly interesting life so far. This web page is my effort to share a
little bit of that, and should grow as I have time to add to it.
Within these pages, you'll be able to find out a little
bit about the army, working as a journalist, traveling the world, how I deal
with what life hands me and how you can make a difference in the world too if
you choose.
