Here's how the finished car looks!

The solar panel is attached to the top of the triangular cardboard body with a metal rod that is bent back on both ends. The solar panel has a corrugated plastic backing. The bent rod ends fit into the middle channel of the corrugated backing.

A rubber band is used to angle the solar panel to face the sun as best as can be done on one axis.

Alligator clip leads were soldered to the ends of the motor wires. By moving the leads from one side to the other, the motor will spin one way or the other.
