| Hackney-like action,fearless animation,complete self-possession, and spirited presence, thats the Min Pin! Although the Miniature Pinscher is similar to the Doberman on a smaller scale, it is definitely not a bred-down Doberman. He has a nature, and a manner suggestive of a much larger dog. The Min Pin is especially valuable as a watch dog, often keener than a dog twice its size. He is a born show dog too, noted for his lively temperament, intelligence and pep. The close, slick coat of the Min Pin requires scant attention, little grooming. He is always neat and clean, ready for action. His activity level is very high, but his daily exercise needs are minimal. Although the Miniature Pinscher may look fragile, he is in fact a very sturdy dog and rugged for his size.
