ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT

Oh! What characters enter this place!

The mess they leave is a shame and disgrace!

They are not satisfied to leave things aright,

They litter and tear all through the night!

When you try to cross on y9ur green light,

Those driving Main Street gives you a fright!

You wonder if they respect their homes,

They won’t leave other’s property alone!

Cans and bottles strewn on the street.

Watch out where you put your feet!

Enough paper thrown to wrap the town!

Looks bad enough without tearing it down!

Is this generation our place will take?

What kind of citizens will they make?

It can’t get any worse, you say!

Just wait till you are old and gray!
