Word to Church in Lubbock

 

 

 

Thus says the One who is Truth with Abundant Grace,

To the church in Lubbock:

 

I see your zeal for revival and for Me

But I have something against you!

 

My people talk and talk and talk and

Work and work and work,

 

Never realizing that I am right in your midst

To perform all that is needed!

 

I not only am available but anxious to do the things

Which I have set forth to be done;

 

Instead, you do things in the flesh,

Never hearing or caring what I say!

 

Repent, and do things My way!

I am Wisdom – I am Victory!

 

You do not live in a make-believe world

But in a real one,

 

That I gave you the keys  –

Use them with Me – I am here!

 

I am real and really in your midst!

Listen to My Spirit, not your own!

 

Do not be children who call to one another –

“We have played for you and you have not danced.”

 

Work My work of Love!

Work My work of Love!!!

 

You dance and sing

While My people starve!

 

You consume My Storehouse before My eyes

While the hungry are not fed!

 

I will bring revival; but not like you think!

The people of old (those you try to copy)

 

Left all that they had and followed Me!

Have you left anything for Me?

 

They rode hundreds and thousands of miles –

How far have you rode ?

 

All their thoughts were for Me –

Are yours?

 

Repent and do the work I have called you to –

 

Preach the Word,

Feed the hungry,

Heal the sick –

 

“Come and follow Me!”

And remember, “I am in your Midst!”
