Should I take power in a bloody coup, or just let him have his little group and be secretly resentful?

| I was admitted to this, well, writing group (sort of) and
noticed that the worst person in the group was the founder, the second
worst was his first choice for membership, and that the only decent
person out of all the reasonably good people who were up for
consideration who got let in was me, and that's probably only because I
was already his friend. Should I take power in a bloody coup, or just let him have his little group and be secretly resentful? |
