Raise The Red Curtain is TANQ’s first signature event for 2004. It represents TANQ’s mission to nurture, strengthen and inspire the continued development of Queensland theatre arts through advocacy, networking and the promotion of Queensland Theatre.

Mohamed Bangoura - here in Queensland for an intimate concert and workshop Thursday 6 May. Workshop - 4.30pm - 5.30pm and Concert 6.00pm - 7.00pm. Mohamed Bangoura is joined by Gopi McLeod and her irrepressibly energetic Afro dance troupe 'Beats n Feet'! This is a rare and very reasonably priced opportunity ($10!!!) to see one of the true greats of African percussion in

The Flowering at Metro Arts this week. A comedic yet sometimes harrowing piece, The Flowering is the story of a mother, a daughter and a garden. It is about love and desire, lies and betrayal and the secrets every mother tries to tell her daughter, but which every daughter must discover herself.
