This picture was taken backstage at Carnegie Hall In January 1999 when I performed the Tchaikovsky Symphony #6(Pathetique) with the National Festival Orchestra under the direction of  Maestro Lukas Foss.

Hobbies and Interests:choir, orchestra(violin), watching UCONN basketball and Yankees baseball, role-playing games, video and computer games, tennis, travel, being a perpetual student, procrastinating by making webpages when I should be doing something constructive, wasting time in general
I am currently a dental resident at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine with the AEGD(Advanced Education in General Dentistry) program. I am a DMD graduate from the class of 2005 from
Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  I also graduated from the University of Connecticut(go Huskies!!!) in 1999 with a MS in Genetics. I also graduated from Cornell Universityin 1997 with a BA in Chemistry. Needless to say, I seem to enjoy education and being in school(and putting off the real world as long as humanly possible!)

In addition to studying, I do like to have fun once in a while(much more now than I did back in high-school when I was an anti-social loser who had no life!). Actually, come to think of it, I still have no life, but at least I pretend to have a social life these days! :) Here are some pictures from my college days:

In order to maintain what little sanity I have remaining, I do have other interests besides academics. I am absolutely addicted to performing classical music. I can't get enough of that feeling of being onstage with a group of talented musicians and making beautiful music that no one person can make. I love hearing the audience give a standing ovation after a performance, especially after all the hours that go into putting together a concert. I've been this way for the last ten years. My mother holds an MMus degree from the Hartt School so that's probably where it came from. Anyway, I have created pages dedicated to my singing and violin playing:

I am  a HUGE UCONN basketball fan-I love both the womens' and mens' teams. I've been a season ticket holder for the womens' team for the past 3 seasons and I had the pleasure of attending the 2000 Final Four and seeing my team win the National Championship!  Unfortunately, I did not go to San Antonio for the 2002 National Championship-Oh Well...

I am also a big Yankees fan-I've been a fan my entire life. The greatest thrill I've ever had as a Yankees fan was attending Game 1 of the 2000 World Series. The best part is that I got my ticket for FREE!(Thanks to Pat Olivieri, one of the greatest friends on the planet!)

I love to travel and see interesting places, even when I don't have enough time to do so. I like visiting places where I can learn something as well. I'm a bit of a history buff. I took 2-1/2 weeks in summer 2001 to drive around the East Coast! I drove down to Chapel Hill, NC and back, stopping at interesting places and visiting people on the way. Here are some pictures of places I've been:
