Birth Story: Momma had a dr appt. 3/15 in the a.m. and the dr said she was still only 1-2cm. Daddy headed off to work and Grandma came over to walk with Mommy. From that morning on Mommy had been having "cramps" and by noon she called Daddy back from work to time them. By 2 they were 2-3min apart and about a minute long so the dr had them come in to get checked. MOMMY WAS 7CM!! Good thing she'd brought their bags with them because they were off to the hospital. Finally Mommy got her epidural and when her water was broken there was myeconium in it. Soon it was time to push but baby was still up high and becoming distressed. A c-section was decided on and Baby GIRL Caralina joined this world safe, sound, and awe-inspiring. |
