Mirage
I have searched the skies
The endless fathoms of the seas
Across the corners of the globe
Spent my useless years
Running for a mirage
Everyday and every moment.

I couldn't smell
I couldn't see
I didn't hear
Never felt the touch
No taste at all.

And one day it was here
Here, in my very room
In my neighbourhood
In the very life I live
In my breath
In my vision
Inside my molecules.

Within myself it existed
From even before I was born.

I was running for a mirage
And the mirage was here.
