This band, and the Man himself, Marilyn Manson, are not just "in it for the money" as it were. Unlike the Pop bands these "family oriented" folks gleefully allow their children to consume, Marilyn truly does care about the message he sends to listeners. The Good guys dont always wear white. Yes, its true, drugs and sex are part of the repitoire. And yes, he is a Satanic Minister. But in todays times, individuality is in very grave danger. While politicians fight against human cloning, their own children are becoming clones of each other. While they fight to keep Marilyn Manson from playing in thier town, to bring joy to the hearts of a few lonely teenagers who are scorned and abused by their classmates brought up in good homes, the children of the"Upstanding citizens" are becoming more and more alike, blinded by their lust for money and popularity. What kind of a gray world are we headed towards, if individuality and intelligence are so discouraged and reviled upon for the youth , by their own parents? When I walk around my city, I see how every1 dresses alike, talks alike, and acts alike. Snobby, jealous, giving nasty looks. Manson fans are not like that. But the ones against us will never know, for they turn a deaf ear and a blind eye, and only seek to iliminate us. It is them I am sad for. Also, the knowledge Manson imparts to his listeners about The Kabbalah and other ancient traditions, will soon undoubtedly be embrassed by all of these naysayers, for these are changing times for the human consiousness, and Im sure they wouldnt want to miss the party. Yes, singer Marilyn Manson, bassist Twiggy Ramirez, keyboard player Pogo, gutarist John5, and drummer Ginger Fish are accomplished and talented musicians, and they have a message for the world.
