In light of recent events, the guidelines are as such: GUIDELINES FOR WRITING TO MR. DILLER AND/OR MR. ENGEL: 1. Let him know how much you love Quantum Leap 2. Enforce the reasons WHY a Quantum Leap movie would be a great idea to make. Such reasons are: the audience is comprised of the age group networks prize, Scott Bakula is enjoying a new-found fame with "Enterprise", Trekkies are now tuning in to reruns of Quantum Leap because they like to watch movies/shows featuring Star Trek alumni, Don Bellisario is ready and simply waiting for Universal to give him a green light, Dean Stockwell is still making movies and enjoying a certain amount of success in the independent film genre, and anything else you can think of! 3. Let him know that the only way to make a Quantum Leap reunion a success is to have Scott and Dean starring as Sam and Al, and Don Bellisario writing and producing. Let him know that heavy promotion in all mediums is essential since some Leapers do not have access to the Internet, thus not being able to keep up with the news that way. 4. Quote Dean Stockwell from his recent interview with Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith: "We get along so great [Dean and Scott] ... we had such a good time on the set we had everybody laughing." GUIDELINES FOR WRITING TO MR. ZUCKER: See 1-3 above. Also: 4. Mention the fact that he is looking for past shows to revive, and tell him Quantum Leap would be a great choice. Then, go on to say why it would be using the suggestions above as a guide. GUIDELINES FOR WRITING TO MR. BAKULA: 1. Tell him how much you enjoyed his work on Quantum Leap. 2. If you have seen "Enterprise" and liked it, let him know. 3. Mention specifically the episode of "Enterprise" entitled "Detained". If you saw it, let him know what you thought. 4. Let him know that we Leapers are backing him up in whatever he does. Tell him that hope is still living, and that we're ready and willing to do anything to get Quantum Leap back. Encourage him to keep pushing for a revival in any way he deems possible. *** Unfortunately, we do not currently have an address for Dean Stockwell. If one emerges, I will put up the information immediately. I have decided to once again include Mr. Bellisario's address on the Addresses page, so that we may send letters of encouragement to him... So we can let him know that we're still behind him 100%. Please feel free to use any and all of the the above information when writing your letters. We need to send as many as possible so that Universal will see that there is a GREAT demand for a Quantum Leap revival. |
