Revival History

The Quantum Leap Revival Initiative was created by Margaret Morin A.K.A. "alongtimefan" on the Sci-Fi Channel Quantum Leap Bboard. The idea was first proposed on the board on October 10, 2000, as a simple post of addresses for sending letters to Universal. Since then, that simple post has grown into a full-blown campaign to get Quantum Leap back onto TV... or into box-office theaters as a feature film.

We have been working full-time on this revival since January 2001. We have received responses from Bellisarius Productions, but so far, none from Universal or Sony.

Why are we writing to Universal about a Quantum Leap movie? Because Universal is the company that owns the rights to Quantum Leap. Not Bellisarius Productions. The only people responsible for making a Quantum Leap movie or renewing the series is Universal.

Recently, Margaret (alongtimefan) received some updated information about to whom we should write and send our letters. Mr. Charles Engel of USA productions is the Programming Director who has direct control over the rights to Quantum Leap.

We had originally written to Mr. Donald Bellisario to ask for him to help us with this campaign, but due to the response we received, we are no longer writing to him to ask for help. If you would like to learn more about this, visit here to read the response letter:
