Rules
Okay, the rules for the RPG:

1.)  YOU DO NOT START OUT WITH A GUNDAM OR ZOID. If you wish to pilot any type of vessel, you must train for one week at the appropriate location. The place you start out at should have some sort of traing facility. And it should also have a mech store, too. All mechs will be bought from me at first.

2.)  You may pick any name from any show, I don't care. You can't take a name that's already taken, though. And I don't care if you make up your own name.

3.)  In order to travel anywhere, you must have a vessel or book a ride on a transport. To travel anywhere on Earth takes two days, to a space location four days and you need a space upgrade (shuttles excepted.) More info on that somewhere else.

4.) You do not have to join an organization. You may be a loner if you wish, but you will not be able to access organization funds or participate in team battles. You will, however, be able to participate in war.

5.)  All players must have some sort of stats page if possible. That way, both you and I can keep track of everything you've learned, the amount of money you have, etc.

6.)  I will adress other issues as they come up.

Buying a gundam or zoid:

1.)  Mail me a form with the name of the gundam or zoid with a link to a picture. It does not matter what gundam or zoid you get, for all begin with standard equipment.

2.)  I will mail you back with a reciept-type thing that you don't need to keep, or I'll tell you that the gundam or zoid is taken.

3.)  Each player is not restricted to one gundam or zoid. The limit, however, is 5 per player. Shuttles and tranpsorts are not counted in this figure.

4.)  Use the same prcedure to buy a shuttle, transport, or starship.

Battle:

There are two types of battles - Mech battles and foot battles. Some battles, however, can be both.

Mech battles:

1.) There must always be a ref, no exceptions.

2.) Battles are held in chat windows for Yahoo! Messenger or AOL Instant Messenger. To battle:
a.) Type in what you are going to attack with (and who you're going to attack, in the case of more than two-people battles.)
b.) Your opponent will do the same.
c.)  The ref will calculate the damage and display it. The ref will indicate when a player is damaged beyond fighting.
d.) Depending on the battle, the results will be displayed on the main page of this site.

Types of Battles:

1.)  1 on 1 - Two players engage in a battle. Loser recieves 500 to all stats, winner gets 1000 to all stats plus five hundred dollars.

2.)  Handicap - Two players against one. Winner(s) get 1500 to all stats, loser(s) get the same.

3.)  Team - Two teams with the same number of players go all-out. Only members of the same organization can be on the same teams. Winners get 1000 to all stats per person plus half the other organization's funds. Losers get nothing.

4.)  Free-for-all - Any one can participate. This is a fend-for-yourself battle, with the winner getting plus 500 to all stats per mech he or she guns down. Losers get away alive (mostly).

5.)  War - Two or more organizations have a mass team battle. Teams may have allies. The battle is over when one group of allies is left standing (or everyone else surrenders). Winners get all that the defeated organization had (not including what individual members have, just funds and organization vessels, etc.) . Losers may chose to go to the jail for a short period of time and rebuild or join the winning organizations. If the war takes place on Earth, foot soldiers may participate. If it is space, they may borrow an organization mech to participate.

6.)  Raid - One organization launches a sneak attack on another. Neutral refs decide the outcome. If the raiders are successful, they get one item of the other organization's (not funds.) If they aren't, nothing happens, the raidees will merely be informed of the raid. Foot soldiers may also participate in this battle.

Foot Battles:

1.)  Skirmish - Teams of two or more people have a good old-fashioned shoot out somewhere. Ref decides winner. NOTE - in any foot battle you may be killed and have to start over, so choose your battles carefully.

2.)  Duel - Not to be taken lightly. Two people with a grudge have a shootout. Winner takes all. Loser must restart RPG. Only engage in this battle if you have a serious prblem with someone or have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Don't get me wrong, you face the possibilty of dying in all battles. But you have a higher probability of dying outside of a mech or shuttle than inside one.
