Watercolor Portrait #1

Now that we have delved into capturing a live subject, let's go even more crazy! This was a watercolor portrait of a live, non-nude model. The purpose being to give us more texture to try to re-create using watercolor. She was sitting sideways on a chair. The "paint" we used was a mixture of a wee spot of fountain pen ink and lots of water. We used the same crazy paper from the charcoal drawing. I will have to say drawing with only one color is somewhat easier than painting with only one color.
