... About A Girl
My name is Qiana and this is my freshman year at Thomas Nelson Community College.
I am a single parent of four great kids (one girl and three boys) who are my source of inspiration and occational bouts of insanity.
I plan to study Radiography at Tidewater Community College after I've taken the prerequisites here at Thomas Nelson. I chose Radiography because of the love I have for science; the desire I posses to be current with our ever evolving technology;the need  I feel to be challenged  on a daily basis in my career; and to form intimate relationships with the people I help.
When I enrolled at Thomas Nelson I thought that going back to school would be easy; failing any of my courses was the furthest thing from my mind. Then I got a 69 on my first algebra test. I decided then that college was not fun anymore. I had to study harder, I had to set goals to achieve the grades I wanted, not just say " I want to get at least a B in this class."
You're probably thinking,"Duh!"
Well, you're right. I hadn't been to school in over ten years untill now; and I wasn't doing my best then! But I believe I may have it together now.
I don't have any words of wisdom yet, except maybe: STUDY! But I will say this: I am proof that
all things can be done through Jesus; and yes, it can get hard- but that's what prayer is for.So, be all you can be and have fun doing it!
