Now I want to leave you with one last thing to see. If all of these drills were taking place - that Bush and his administration CLEARLY were aware of - and already conducting specific scenarios of precisely what happened "in real life" the very morning itself of 911, and all of the agencies involved were clearly conscious of the drills they were conducting, how is it even remotely possible that the actual event was ever allowed to happen? If these agencies were already involved in preparing and responding and preventing a specific but pretend terrorist attack of jets being hijacked and one actually flying into the Pentagon ON the morning of 911, how was it that those very agencies were taken by complete surprise at all - they would have already been clearly, specifically and directly alert for just such an attack - fighter pilots would have already been working with the FAA and NORAD and the Pentagon, and other agencies in a pretend scenario so one has to wonder how horrible our national security is if you go outside with an umbrella preparing for it to rain on you at the end of the street, and you still get wet.
If our national security agencies are that astonishingly inept that they can be in the middle of a pretend event trying to prepare or prevent, and that event still happens right in the middle of the same pretend event - that they're taken by such complete surprise they could save no one at all, might it not be in our best interest to overthrow this government and military completely, scrap the entire board and begin again selecting persons who are somewhat competent? Does that make you feel at all safe??? Do you, with all respect for common sense, honestly believe that the pilots carrying out these drills being in touch with NORAD already, their military command centers, the FAA, were suddenly out of the loop when the FAA realized 4 jets had suddenly gone off course, that they had been hijacked...and the FAA just forgot to radio NORAD and-or any pilots already on drill for this and go, "oh, by the way, nevermind the pretend hijacked jets heading toward DC you guys are pretending to intercept before they hit the Pentagon, how 'bout these real ones we now know have been hijacked..?"
Seriously? Do you honestly believe that the fact that the military intercept orders were given by Cheney after the Pentagon was hit was an accident or a matter of "system failure" or "red tape of bureaucracy" and that they simply had no idea as of the second jet hitting the second tower we were "under attack"? Do you honestly think that nobody was at the switch here and everybody assigned to protect this country was taken by absolute surprise???
What happened with our National Defense agencies on the morning of 911 that allowed anything to happen despite being already involved in specific exercises depicting exactly what DID happen was NOT by any stretch of the imagination a "complete surprise" - nor was it "system failure" of various agencies to get it together to prevent it in time. There is a reason and it is not due to the government's stock excuse for everything "system failure"...there was a very real reason that the persons responsible for taking out hijacked jets before they reached restricted air space at all, especially the damned Pentagon, for god sakes, who were already conducting drills to do that very thing, FAILED TO DO SO and let 3500 people die. Somewhere, one of those "principals" of the Administration gave a simple order when they were told 4 jets had been hijacked at least an hour before anything hit anything... Stand Down. They didn't "let it happen." They MADE IT HAPPEN.
And that's called murder.
