| This is Postcard Photo. On the back is written by my grandmother: Evert, Bert Vanbuskirk. It has the studio name on it also. It reads: "THE FOLSOM STUDIO", 602-4 JEFFERSON AVE., TOLEDO,O. SUMMER...1917. When Grandma, Ollie VanBuskirk Miller wrote the words on this photo, she also put an X on the persons she was identifying. Look at the collars on their shirts for the X's. Earl Vanbuskirk is on the far left and next to him is Bert Vanbuskirk. I believe these are her brothers.Could this be a highschool photo? Graduation possibly? My father remembers taking a trip to Toledo and Bowling Green, OH, to visit relatives when he was a child. |
