OUR FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS
This is a picture of my mother, Edna Mae Hill and her sister Mildred Hill. They were born in Crocker, Pulaski Co.,MO. My mother died Dec, 26, 1994 and that is when I became interested in genealogy. She was very family oriented and came from a large family. Her nickname was "Sis" and it is engraved into her tombstone. Mom is missed by all her family but not forgotten as her memory lives on in our hearts forever. Mildred still lives near Crocker and the old homestead.

Parlee Dodd Hill was my grandmother. She was kind and friendly to everyone. Her apple pies were the best in the world.. I remember watching her make quilts and sew on an old sewing machine that had footpedals. In the summer she would grow a vegetable and a flower garden. It was fun to run between the rows of tall flowers playing in the summer while visiting with her and grandpa Hill. We would set on a bench under a large walnut tree feeding corn to her chickens and talk. Parlee died in Pleasant Hill, Pike Co.,IL.
