| Know all men by these servants that we Milla Dodd as principal ____, Robert Hudgins, and Richard Skaggs as security, Acknowledge our debts to all and stand justly indebted unto the State of Missouri in the final sum of four hundred dollars for the true payment of the debts, will and truly be made and done. We bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators and legal representatives, jointly and sovernly, firmly by those servants signed with our hands and with our seals and dated the 8th day of December, A.D., 1843. |

| The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above Widow? Milla Dodd, Administrator of all and singular?, the goods, chattles rights, and credits which were of James Dodd deceased do make or comes to be made a true and perfect inventor of all and singular? the goods, chattles, lands and testements?_rights and credits of the said deceased, which have come into the said possession or knowledge of her the said Milla Dodd or into the hand or possession of my children for them. And the same do make do return and exhibit in the office of the Clerk of the Probate Court for the County of Pulaski witnessed and signed and in such manner done and or may do so provided by law and all____ the money, goods, chattles, lands, and servants rights and __ of the deceased, accumilated from marriage out of the estate which shall come to from the land, possession, or knowledge of the said Milla Dodd. Milla Dodd shall, will and truly administer according to law and pay the debts of the deceased. As far as her assets will extend and the law directs and parties make or comes to be made a true account of her administrations and make due and proper settlements thereof known time to time according to the law in the order sustained or delivery of my having computent jurisdictation and shall endeavor, will and truly and sovernly, firmly by those presents signed with our hands and sealed with our seals and dated this 8th day of December A.D., 1843. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Be it remembered that on this the 8th day of December AD, 1843, personally came Milla Dodd before me Robert A. Hardin, Clerk of the County Court within and for the County of Pulaski and State aforesaid and after being by me duly sworn according to the law and upon her oath, with that James Dodd deceased has left a wife Milla Dodd and ninteen children named as following (to wit) Jospeph Dodd, Milton Dodd,Sintha Ann Swan(late Sintha Ann Dodd), Mahala Hudgens (late Mahala Dodd), Manerva Salley (late Manerva Dodd), Luiza S__ Dodd (Late Louiza ___), Newton Dodd, Jackson Dodd, Hanserd Dodd, Malinda Dodd, Parilee Dodd, Emila Dodd, and Milla Dodd of the County of Pulaski and State of Missouri and Hiram Dodd, James Dodd, Nancy Dodd, Elizabeth Dodd (late Elizabeth Pew), Sarah Dodd,Jane Dodd (late Jane Pew), of the County of Dekalb and State of Tennessee, and James Dodd died intestate and I Milla Dodd as Administrator of James Dodd, deceased will, will and truly Administer all and _____ the goods (to be cont'd) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
