Myself in a short summary:

26 years old, a man, tall, not really slim anymore.
High School education with some university.

People in real life usually say about me that I know something about anything, but I think that's overstatement. I've come to realize that knowing is inferior to having good intellect and intuition.

I've got serious shizophrenia, but in the moment it's treated well with an invaluable medicine, Olanazapine. Still I can't have a job though. I spend my time mostly with the medias, particularly with the computer games, the internet, and movies, in approximately that order.

Whenever I can save some money I also have other interests to spend it on, traveling and visiting either good restaurants and bars or doing something for the culture in my life, ie visiting a theatre or an exhibition. I try to have one cultural event each month.

I don't listen much to music, perhaps that's a slight oddity when I consider how much of a big role music seems to play in most people's life. .

Favourite books/authors: Homo Faber, Huckleberry Finn, Das Glasperlenspiel, Faust, old eastgerman SciFi, Plutonium, The children of Captain Grant, 20.000 leagues under the sea, False light, 1984, most of the stuff of Remarque, everything I've read of Hans Fallada, Philip Jose Farmer, and some books whose titles and authors I can't remember

Favourite films: The Station Agent, Stand by me, Kafka, The fugitive, Der König (older german TV series), The queen of the 1000 years (older anime series), Enemy Mine, Dark City, Homo Faber, Icecold Angels I, Men in Black I & II, The postman, Waterworld, and some others

Favourite music: I'm not that interested in music ... but recent favourites were Jocelyn McGillivray, Laurent Garnier, the band Garbage, the soundtrack to The Deep Blue and various instrumental music from bands and artists such like EKO or C. Atkins. I also like jazz for the variance of styles to choose from.

Internet: spiegel.de, mpogd.com, yahoo.com, thecry.com, killdevilhill.com, antroposophen.de, various livejournals

Philosophy/beliefs: From all the philosophies and religious views I know the one that I find best is Epicureanism. I did some ventures into the realm of religions, and I don't regret having done so, but ultimately I found that I'm better off without greater involvement. I don't explicitly deny the existence of one or more deities but I find that I can live my life easier without bothering with them. What I sincerely hope though is that the bible isn't true in its tales about its God. I'm not a very compassionate human ... but it doesn't need much compassion to feel negatively about the christian perspective that most of humanity deserves an eternity of agony in hell.

Favourite quote: "I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you're not in this world to live up to mine."
