Oh my, how do you explain the love that you have for your grandchildren? I think the first thing you must do is thank your children for the gift they have given you.

 For with the birth of each of their children, you now have an extension of the love between you and your spouse. When each of our grandchildren were born, Kman and I felt overwhelmed with pride and happiness. Not that our lives were being extended with a new life, but that our love for our children has grown and given them hope for their future. A future to pass on and to share with those children the love, compassion, understanding and hope is theirs.

They may look sweet napping on that bench, but look real close for the smiles!

Now we are blessed with the addition of a 'new' grandson, the husband of our oldest granddaughter. He is an added blessing to our lives, because it feels like he has been a part of our family forever and our love for him grows continually.

Since I am overcome with love for our special gifts, I will shut up and just show you who I am talking about. Please meet our eight special angels:

An afternoon at McD's!

Oh my, look how they have grown. And we have also gained a 'new' granddaughter.

And...

for the greatest gift of all...we now have 2 awesome Great Granddaughters!!!

No they aren't twins, but they were born 3 days apart.
These sweet little cousins will have a ball growing up together!

Now you have met the angels in our family and the reason for our lives.
