I wanted to share my sunflowers progress with everyone. It topped out at 9'8" tall and produced six huge flowers 18" in diameter. We're drying them now and hoping to have seeds to eat.
I'm taking a break from my "Alsfeld" quilt to piece a top for our daugther and also we've been enjoying the beach and have squeezed a trip to Yosemite into our schedule.
Sandy Hess and I will be taking the Ruth McDowell class this spring, session II. I'm thinking about doing a sunflower that I can incorporate into a story quilt.
