I have been invloved in showing and breeding dogs for nearly 20years. The first breed that we had were Golden Retrievers and after a few years we also got involved with Gordon Setters. When we moved to the country on 50 acres our youngest daughter Kylie (now Trucharm Border Collies) nagged and nagged, until finally we gave in an purchased our first Border Collie as a Christmas present for her.
When the children left home my Husband decided that the Border Collie was the dog for him and so we purchased our first Border Collie with papers from Loadstar Kennels - Loadstar Murphys Law "Murphy", a beautiful girl with a lovely nature. Murphy gave us our first litter and we haven't looked back since. We moved to Cobargo 12 years ago, a beautiful area near Bega (south coast NSW) and now have a total of 6 borders.
In my "spare" time I do Family Day Care. The children adore the puppies and the puppies adore them. All our litters are handled by the children.
My aim is to breed happy healthy puppies with great temperments. |
