She was alone in the lush royal gardens, a heavenly figure in the night. The air was heavily scented with the fragrances of roses, lilies, chrysanthemums, and other various flowers. Serenity sighed as she gazed upon the distant planet of Earth. "How I wish..." Serenity began. "Wish what Princess?" Venus interrupted. Or more correctly Princess Minako of Venus. However, when Minako was in her guardian Senshi mode, she was called Venus. "Hmmm. Nothing Venus. I just wish sometimes that it wasn't always so lonely up here," Serenity said softly. A look of wistfulness entered her eyes and she gazed towards the Earth once more. Venus followed her Princess's gaze and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Princess, I understand. But at least you'll always have all of us. Me, Makota, Rei, Ami, Michiru, Haruka, Setsuna, Hotaru, Artemis, Luna, your people, and of course, your mother," Venus listed off. The smallest hint of a smile touched Serenity's lips and she turned around to fold Venus into a tight hug. "Thank you so much my dear friend," Serenity whispered. It was at that moment that Jupiter (Princess Makota of Jupiter), Mars (Princess Rei of Mars), and Mercury (Princess Ami of Mercury) all bounded into view. "Princess, we've come to inform you that your mother has summoned you to the throne room immediately," Mars said. Mar's violet eyes flashed underneath the lunar light and her long, dark hair threw of maroonish highlights. "It's something about very important visitors from Earth here to negotiate a peace treaty between our Moon Kingdom and Earth," explained Mercury. "And who are these important visitors?" Serenity asked. Though she really couldn't care less. They had tried countless times in the past to try to let peace reign between their planets, but Earth always found some way to spark a battle between them. Serenity just wanted to wile away the rest of the night in the gardens. "I hear that it is Prince Endymion and he is being accompanied by his Royal Guard," Jupiter stated. Serenity, though, just kept gazing twoards Earth. After a while, she finally rose to her feet. "All right. Let's go get this over with. Maybe this time we can find a way to coexist peacefully," Serenity said. So they all walked through the magnificent castle and came upon the closed doors to the throne room. Serenity nodded her head at the two guards at the doors and the guards opened up the doors while announcing their arrival simultaneously. "Announcing Princess Serenity, Heir to the Moon Kingdom and her Senshi. The leader of the Senshi, Sailor Venus. And Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Jupiter," the two guards finished. They then proceeded to shut the doors behind the group. Princess Serenity walked gracefully down to where her mother was conversing with the group all the while keeping her gaze down upon the floor. When she finally glanced up, she noticed the Prince and his guards. But it was the Prince who had almost caused her to stumble in her tracks. He was tall and incredibly handsome. She found him returning her stare. Incredible, Endymion thought. She must be a divine goddess of some sort. He remembered when she had first walked in. He of course couldn't see her face since she kept it facing downwards. All he had seen was her slim and graceful body and her long white-silver hair. When she finally looked up though, he had almost choked. She had eyes the color of baby blue that shimmered softly. But innocence also lurked within those crystalline depths. She's beautiful, he thought. "Serenity dear, let me introduce you to Prince Endymion of Earth and his Royal Guard. The leader of the Guard, Kunzite. And Jaedite, Nephrite, and Zoisite," Queen Serenity said calmly. Serenity and her Senshi bowed deeply to their new guests. Prince Endymion and his Guard also bowed. "Allow me to welcome you to your kingdom, Prince Endymion. Kunzite, Jaedite, Nephrite, Zoisite," Serenity said softly. Her voice is like the voice of an angel. So sweet and innocent, Endymion thought. "Alas, we are deeply humbled that your kingdom would allow us here after...the last time," Endymion finished akwardly. He felt a great shame come over him as he thought of how his ancestors had tried repeatedly to take over the Moon Kingdom. No, he thought. It will not happen this time. This time, I will make sure that our planets live together in peace and harmony. And just maybe, I'll be able to spend more time with Princess Serenity. What woman can resist my charms? None has yet. At that thought, a smug smile played upon his lips. What is he thinking about, thought Serenity. He's so devilishly handsome. I might as well admit that he makes my heart beat faster. But how? I just met the man. It's like...something I can't explain. Hmph! He's probably an arrogant man who has women falling all over him. Well, I'm not just an ordinary woman.
