Her high heels clicked loudly on the smooth marble floor, echo- ing down the silent hallway. The silky black skirts of her designer dress swished against her legs. 'Where in the world is the restroom? I have to get back to the shoot. Hmmm...maybe it's around that corner,' Usagi thought. Just as she was turning the corner, she collided with someone. "I'm so sorry, excuse me," she said quickly, not looking at the person. Usagi crouched down to pick up her purse which had fallen to the floor from the collision. She noticed that her hand wasn't the only hand outstretched to pick up her purse. She looked up into a pair of dark and brooding eyes, the color of dark sapphires. Strands of ebony black hair fell over his forehead. Subtle hints of blue glinted off his hair. Usagi shot straight up and stared at him, a haunted look gracing her features. "Mamo-chan?!" she whispered fearfully. He slowly stood up and lazily handed her purse to her, which she clutched tightly in her hands. "I apologize. Have we met?," the man asked. Through the haze of confusion in her mind, Usagi could register only a fraction of what he had just asked. Her stare was fixated upon his face. She just couldn't speak. "My name is Endymion Kasumi. And may I know yours?" he inquired. 'Endymion Kasumi? How can this be? Why does he look so much like Mamo-chan? No...Mamo-chan died long ago,' Usagi thought painfully. "My name is Usagi Tsukino," Usagi said softly. And with that, she looked down and quickly walked past him. Usagi found the door to the restroom and swung it open. Fortunately, she was the only soul in there. Usagi leaned against the wall and slid down to the cold floor. She could feel tears begin to form in her eyes, but she held them at bay. 'No, I will not cry. Just because he resembles Mamo-chan, doesn't mean anything. It's some sort of punishment for the wrongs that I've committed and those I've hurt.' Usagi pounded the floor repeatedly with her small fists. 'It's my fault Mamo-chan died. If only I could go back and change it all. Oh Mamo-chan, I miss you so much love.' And the tears that she had tried so strongly to hold at bay, finally slid down her cheeks. Usagi hugged herself and sobbed quietly into her arms. Back in the hallway, at the corner, stood Endymion. He had not moved an inch. Slowly, he smirked. 'I'm going to hurt you just as you hurt me Usako,' Mamoru thought. He turned around and sauntered off.
