Cody
Peek-a-boo!
What the...?
Another WHS adoption, this is Cody.  Though he is our "newest" family member, he's 2 years Tika's senior.  First of all, let me say you should never believe what it says on the adoption sheet regarding the cat's personality.  We were told that Cody was a 'couch potato.'  Since he's been here, Tika has learned so many bad habits.  Like running rampant around the apartment, not really caring which surfaces they happen to tread over or what gets knocked over.  Deciding play time starts at 2:00 am when mommy's foot twiches.  And of course, that food belongs anywhere but in the dish ot in their stomachs.  But he is a great cuddler and the cause of much entertianment.  In fact, the best thing we ever did for Tika was adopt Cody.  She has never been so active, and she actually seeks him out every time she wakes up, just to make sure he's still there.  We had another kitten before Cody who only lived three months.  I think she still worries that Cody will disappear too.
Though he is technically a senior cat, he still has his kitten moments.  From "Peek-a-boo, look at me mommy," to, "Crap! I'm stuck.  Get-it-off Get-it-off get-it-off!!!"

"You wanted something?"
In the way, again!
Ever notice how the cat always has to be exactly where you don't want him?  Whether it's photographing our couch for a refinishing estimate or simply wanting to sit down, he HAS to be there.  We've also learned that because he won't move for anything, we really have to be careful when sitting down or crawling into bed.
