Back to Cats
Tika Bell
Fish'n'Bowl
I'd Like to introduce you all to my baby girl, Tika. She was adopted four years ago from the Winnipeg Humane Society.  She was under weight and completely non-social.  It was thought that she had been mistreated becuase of her extreme fear of people, but there was very little by way of a history on her.  She had been deemed 'unadoptable' and they were looking at putting her down at the end of the week.  Now, I was not a cat person.  My mother REALLY doesn't like cats and had passed that feeling onto me somewhat.
But I couldn't let this poor thing pay for something that wasn't her fault.  So, we discussed it, came up with a plan and adopted her.  She lived in her little carpet house for almost a month, only coming out at night to eat and visit the little kitten's box.  But as you can see, she is a beautiful, active kitty who has completey won over our hearts.

As a side note, the fish in this photo WAS moved minutes afer the picture was taken.
