Zak's introduction to

Qur-tayn is a large continent far east of Lindengaard where Dragons have for ages made their home. Each of the 10 Dragon kingdoms and empires vary as much as the Dragons themselves. In addition to the great wyrms, there are a number of other powerful races, either through alliances or by their own right.

To the right is a political border map which shows the 12 main countries. Wedged between Murduk and Selentia is the kingdom of the Copper Dragons. The Brass Dragon kingdom is between Selentia and Viswanathan. Because of a lack of friendly neighbors and trade interests, they have never established formal cities.

As a D&D campaign setting, Qur-tayn has been designed to be suitable for characters level 1 through 20. Be forewarned -- this is a 'status quo' game, so you will undoubtedly find yourself up against challenges above your character's abilities. Sometimes you just have to turn and run.

Until then, I hope you enjoy perusing this website in preparation for the 'awakening'.
