There are some other movies starring Charlie listed in the article (graph) about Charlie in his biography page. They are not listed here since I am not sure about the years/ English titles/info, and mostly because I am too lazy to type them after I've finished this table. : ) Pls. refer to the graph. All the English titles not shown in ( ) are the original English titles. All the titles shown in ( ) are either the literal titles or Chinese titles in pin yin. Some movies are marked with different years in different sources, normally with only one year difference. I assume it is because some movies were made in one year and released in the theater the next year. Among them, Charlie made 20 movies with Brigitte Lin (including 3 they were not as a couple), and 12 movies with Joan Lin (one they were not as a couple). FYI, Brigitte made 20 movies with Chin Han (including two they were not as a couple) and Joan made 26/27 movies with Chin Han (including a few they were not a couple, I need to confirm it further).
Now you can see why 1970s has been labeled as the era of "Two Lins, Two Chins". Together, these four fabulous actors just made the legend in the golden age of TW romance movies. Without them, 70s TW romance movies will never be the same. They made history and history will not forget them. They surely will always be cherished by their fans. A salute to "Two Lins, Two Chins"! |
