* the Pharisees were saying that Jesus was winning and baptizing more people than John.

* Samaria; Jews and Samarians don't like each other.

4) Why was the woman surprised at the question of Jesus?
* because Jews do not use thte same cups and bowls as the Samaritans use.

* life-giving water

* that she was married to 5 men and the guy she was married to is not her husband.

* Jesus said that it dosen't matter where you worship God, as long as you believe in Him.

* he is the Messiah

* to obey the will of the one who sent Him and to finish the work He sent Him to do.

* by getting into the pool of Bethzatha when the water is stiired up.

* this is the Sabbath and it is against our law for you to carry a mat.

* "You are well now; so stop sinning or something worse may happen to you."

* because Jesus had healed a person on Sabbath day.

19) What made the Jewish authorities more determined to kill Jesus this time?
* because Jesus said that God is His father and has made Him equal with God.

* just as the Father himself is the source of life, in the same way he has made his son to be the source of life.
