LLEIDA (Catalunya) December'00.

Situated in the West of Catalonia. Capital of the agronomous Segrià province. Art, culture, gastronomy, festivals and trade, all joined is Lleida. Its symbol is La Seu Vella, cathedral (started in 1203) situated on the top of the hill of the city, it has guided visits. Other places are the Town Hall, named La Paeria (romanesque building XIII century, left picture). It's nice walking along the quite La Devesa park. Food is really good in this village, close to olive oil countries. Combination of  history and and modern times join in a dinamic village named Lleida. Enjoy it.
