Tip toe through the daisies
and a hushed whisper falls
You trampled on the flowers
and broke down my walls

Waiting for you to talk
my own voice grows hoarse
The sollum look in your eyes
fills me with remorse

Please say something
don't keep it all inside
Tell me what you're thinking
so that I can reply

So dark, and strong
you never seem to give
So small, and hard
how can you even live?

I don't know what it is
that makes me want you so
It's not like you even care
and now I just want to go

No more whispered confidences
No more wasted tears
No more painful replies
No more useless fears

Walk away
and run faster yet
Gonna be free
forget we ever met

I'll build my walls again
and plant my garden too
And this time I'll use barb wire
to keep out intruders like you.
