| RoyalScot offers rabbits for show, breeding, pets and - on the less popular side - meat and feeders. It is our belief that there are only so many *GOOD* homes for rabbits - and our new in 2004 venture to bring in pets who need homes and find good homes brings that to the front. Our show and breeding stock do well on the show table both for ourselves and for others. However, in not so many years past the primary use for rabbits - and indeed the reasons behind the standards of many breeds including several the RoyalScot raises - was for meat and fur. The fact is not every rabbit born is show quality; of those that aren't those with the best temperments and healthiest constitution are sorted for pet rabbits. Those that are left, that there is no other demand for, provide meat and fur. For those people who have dogs on a raw diet, rabbit offers an economical alternative. For people who have reptiles such as snakes rabbit is among the small mammals these animals naturally eat in the wild. *ALL FEEDERS ARE SOLD PRE-KILLED* This is safer for the reptile and quicker for the rabbit. Please do not ask us for live feeders - if you want to raise your own feeders or meat animals we occasionally have available breeding quality (but not necessarily showable) stock for sale at very reasonable prices. |
