VOTE RACHAEL FOR VPR

Student representation is about YOUR voice.

The Vice President Representation exists to help all students be heard by the University, the local community and the government. If elected I will listen to your views and promote that voice.

The University and EUSA is changing next year and I will make sure students are not forgotten within the new structures. My experience as this year's Academic Affairs Convenor will enable me to seize this opportunity to build stronger and more effective representation for all.

As VPR I intend to:

• Develop a new class representative system and SRC structures to be incorporated into the new university structure



• Emphasise the necessity of adequate library and computing facilities to the University



• Maintain pressure on the government to increase higher education funding



• Fully support societies and increase the profile of Societies Week



• Help integrate students into the wider Edinburgh community



• Work towards more effective representation for postgraduates and mature students



• Run a publicity campaign to promote SRC activities and achievements

Above all I will represent YOUR concerns - academic, welfare and financial - stating the importance of student input at all levels of the University.
