chopsticks, not just for ramen
what you need
1 pair children's wooden chopsticks. look for colorful ones with quirky cartoons. plastic will work but requires the use of a drill
two 5/8 inch copper nails
two colorful plastic barrettes
multipurpose cement glue
hammer
drill (if using plastic chopsticks)
how to
hammer a nail into the top of one of the chopsticks being careful not to split the wood
if the wood splits use a small drill bit to finish the hole for the nail
put some glue between the nail and the wood to glue the nail in place and also to touch up any split bits of wood
after glue is set clip the barrette onto the nail and then glue the barrette shut
optional extras
glue glitter or plastic jewels to your sticks
