ginger tea

this tea is perfect for cold stormy days when you just can't seem put on enough layers of clothing. the ginger has a delightful way of warming you from the inside out. ginger tea is also perfect for releiving nausea or motion sickness. i have always had terrible motion sickness so i offten brew a cup before embarking on a road trip, after too much spinning on the tire swing or prior to sitting down to watch home movies.


ingredients

  • ginger root
  • honey


  • directions

  • slice a few thin slivers of ginger root using a peeler
  • finley chop root and add to 3 cups of water in a saucepan
  • simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes
  • strain and poor into cups
  • add honey to taste
