Gods' Plan

The LAW, or Ten Commandments, is nessassary to point out sin. It is like a mirror that shows us where we are dirty.
God touches the heart open to his pleadings with CONVICTION, which helps us to realize how short we fall of Gods' law because of our sinful nature and deeds. God then grants us his spirit of REPENTANCE which puts in us the desire to turn from our sinful ways.
These things are the begining of Gods' GRACE working thru the HOLY SPIRIT which is the POWER OF GOD that changes our life to conform to his will, which is us keeping his law PERFECTLY. It is his grace that FORGIVES us and his grace that gives us the Holy Spirit that enables us to keep his commandments. His grace, or unmeritied love, it can be said REMOVES SIN. ( Grace is defined as unmerited love and it is this love that gave us Jesus who shed his blood for us, to cover our sins.)
Once we realize our sinfulness, and its results, and our powerlessness to turn from it alone, we in FAITH turn to Jesus, who alone can save us from our sins and their results. He alone is the PERFECT SACRIFICE to atone, or make up for, our sin and satisfy a loving Gods' justice which does not allow sin in his righteous presence...(and without God we die.)

This faith not only beleives that Jesus' sacrifice saves us from death, but this faith continues to work and grow in the Christians' life thru the power of the Holy Spirit, beleiving that God not only has pointed out our sin, helped us to repent, gave us faith to beleive in Jesus, but also makes us perfect in keeping Gods' law.
I do not keep the law to be saved, that is a salvation of works. I keep the law because I am saved. That is a salvation of love and faith.

I LOVE the Lord because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Psalms116:1-2
