+are committed to helping end the Israeli occupation of Palestine and to supporting Palestinian liberation and self-determination.
+endorse the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Goals

+To stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
+To link individuals and organizations throughout Florida who subscribe to our Unity Statement (above).
+To raise awareness about the true nature of the Israel-Palestine conflict through critical thought, discussion and activism.

Palestine Media Watch
Become a media watchdog!

The media is one of the most influential and far-reaching institutions in the world.  Unfortunately, most media coverage of the Israel-Palestine Conflict skims over or misrepresents some of the most important details. How often have you thrown down a newspaper or turned the channel in disgust at the sensationalism that passes as fact?
Don't just get frustrated. Get active!

Palestine Media Watch Florida -- the newest regional branch of the national grassroots media watchdog group -- needs supporters of human rights to keep an eye on their local media outlets and take action when the pundits need some guidance.

Student Delegation
In May 2004, eight young people from three Florida universities spent a week in the West Bank, Palestine. They met officials and ordinary folks and learned how the Israeli occupation, the Apartheid Wall and settlements impact the lives of Palestinians.
