| COME TO THE CROSS OF JESUS |
| He was wounded and bruised for our sins He was chastised that we might have peace He was lashed and we were healed He was cursed so we could be blessed For it is written in the scriptures, "Anyone is cursed that is hanged on a tree" HE DIED THAT WE MAY LIVE.. Isaish says, " All of us like sheep have gone astray Each of us has turned to his own ways; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on him. By oppression and judgement He was taken away And as for HIs generation, who considered that He was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of my people to whom the stroke was due. But he Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief. By HIs knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many. As He will bear their iniquities. Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors: Yet He Himself bore the sins of many. And interceded for the transgressors." So come to the cross of Jesus Come to the cross of my Lord Oh, come to the cross of Jesus And be saved by the Lamb of God. HIs precious blood will cover you And wash away every sin He'll heal your mind and body And make you whole again. He's waiting there to help you To meet your every need So, bring your troubles with you And leave them at His feet. He'll be coming for us quickly So, loved ones don't delay. Come to the cross of Jesus Come right now today. Our Lord said, " At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2 |
