JESUS, THE WORD
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.  Darkness was upon the earth and God said,"  Let there be light ".  An angel took this Word and rushed it to a young virgin named Mary.  He told her she would conceive in her womb, a Son and His name would be called Jesus.  He would also be called the Son of the Most High.  He would bring light into a world filled with darkness.
Mary took this Word into her innermost being and said, " Let it be done unto me as you say ".  Her word melded with God's Word and the Word grew inside of her until His time came.  Then the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.............Light had come to the world.
Jesus said, " I am the Light of the world; he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have The Light Of Life. "
" The Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting Light and thy God the glory, "  Isaiah prophecied somewhere around eight hundred years before.
God saw that the Light was good, too good for a world filled with so much darkness.  So God separated the Light from the world.  The darkness turned on Him and beat Him beyond recognition.  A crown of thorns was plaited and shoved on His precious head.  He was mocked and spit on as He was led away to be crucified.
The sun refused to shine, so darkness once more covered the earth as Jesus, the Word cried out, "  It is finished " and commended His Spirit back to the One who gave it.
Then Heaven opened up and behold a white horse; and He that sat on him was called Faithful And True.  His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns and on His thigh a name was written:  King Of Kings and Lord Of Lords.  He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word Of God.
