HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS HE WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES THE CHASTISEMENT FOR OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM AND WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED Romans 5:6 and 8 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. But Christ demonstrates His love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Luke 23:33,34 And when they came to the place called The Scull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. But Jesus was saying, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing." John 15:12,13 " This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you." |
