Lord give me a burden
One that'll drop me to my knees
For a lost and hurting people
Help me help them please
There are some who have never met You
Have never heard Your name
They know nothing of the blood You shed
The beatings or the shame
They've never felt the love You give
They only feel their pain
So, Lord, give me a burden
